The Other Box: New World (March 3rd, 2018) is a showcase of poetry and a panel discussion dedicated to the topic of immigration curated by Geoff Anderson. Ruth Awad, Ethan Rivera, Soz Zangana, Anisa Gandevivala, and Xavier Smith were selected to perform. The venue, Bottom's Up Coffee, is run by Venezuelan-American Virginia Nunes Gutierrez. Scioto Winter 2018 (January 19-21st, 2018) was a three-day poetry workshop organized by Geoff Anderson and facilitated by Scott Woods and Su Flatt. In addition to reading analysis, participants accepted to the workshop engaged in workshopping old and new pieces.

Lingua Franca (September 22nd, 2017) was a showcase of poetry dedicated to the topic of translation during National Translation Month curated by Geoff Anderson. Mark A Lomax, Alexis Mitchell-Tremain, Louise Robertson, Kemmily Kwok, Hemalatha Venkataraman, Shurouq Ibrahim, Christopher M Farris, Alexandra Bruno, Su Flatt, Maranda Coehins-Noble, Soz Zangana, Jeremy Glazier, and Anisa Gandevivala provided either music or their own translations of work in over six languages.

The Other Box: Mixed Poetry Performances (May 20th, 2017) was a show dedicated entirely to multi-racial poets, featuring Rachel Wiley , Dave Nichols, Greg Kdt Anderson, Christopher M Farris, James Jackson, Sayuri Ayers, Aaron Al, Paige Quiñones, Kimberly Brazwell, and Jeff De Salu, curated by Geoff Anderson.  Poets backgrounds included Asian, Hispanic, black, and white ancestry.

 Series On Hiatus

Writer's Block Workshop is a monthly editing series run by Geoff Anderson held at the Writer's Block Open Mic in Columbus, OH at Kafe Kerouac on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. Bring 10 copies of a poem for editing and it will receive group feedback from local poets.

 

Fine Print  is a an actual reading series run by Geoff Anderson, where people interested in poetry read and analyze work of respected poets, such as T.S Eliot, Zbigniew Herbert, Elizabeth Bishop, William Blake, Natasha Trethewey, and many more, meeting  at the Columbus Main Library
